If a man has not received forgiveness of sin, if he has any unconfessed sin in him then there will be fear in his heart. When Adam sinned against God, he was filled with fear. "I heard Thy voice in the garden and I was afraid," he says (Gen 3:10). As long as you have unconfessed sin in your life, fear will keep haunting you. The fear may manifest itself in different ways, but the cause for all of them is some unclean thing that is lurking in the heart.In I John 4:18 we read, "Perfect love casteth out fear." This perfect love is Calvary's love. Do you know what the greatest sin in the world is? The greatest sin is breaking the greatest commandment of God viz. "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind" (Matt 22:37,38). So the greatest sin is not loving God with our whole heart. Dear child of God, the solution for all human problems is loving God with the whole heart.
How can we measure our love for Jesus? We love Jesus only as much as we love our worst enemy. We read about this truth in Matthew chapter 25. What you did to the last or the least person, you did to Jesus. Some people will be shocked on the day of judgment to hear Jesus say, "You hated Me. You workers of iniquity, depart from Me!"
Dear reader, go to Jesus with all your sins. Calvary's love will forgive all your sins and open all the doors for you. No matter what your problem, Calvary's love will conquer all fears. At Calvary Jesus abolished the fear of death and brought life.
