From Curse to Blessing.. Sunday Service at Tambaram

Pas.Manase shared the Word of God today on how to pass from Curse to blessing sans both English and Telugu translations.

If there is a curse in you, you should put an end to it today. We have been called to be at the peak of blessings. Curse makes your life vile and base, and it also tarnishes your name and reputation.

In one particular aspect of your life there may be a curse. You may be healthy, friendly, regular church-goer etc, but you may be poor in money. Or, you may have money, friends, and everything else, but not health.

We need to come out of that. The Church has to be restored to its original blessing.

The blood of Abel: Curse was upon Cain because he shed innocent blood.
If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? Gen: 4:7
If you step on a person, by telling scandals against him and come up the ladder, that blood will fall to the ground and it will be avenged of you. You will not come to church and instead go away to other places.
The land shall not give her increase: You'll work, but you'll not be happy. You'll eat, but not be satisfied. You'll be restless in the world. You will have a haunting conscience.
God gives a stunning word to Cain, "If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?" When God Has given you the best things, you have not done good. What's the offering you offered in God's presence? Whatever work you start, wherever you go, the sin will lie at your doorstep, cos you have not given your best unto the Lord. In all your time, money, the cream should be only for the Lord.
In the fresh morning, in the best of the holiday, in the best of health, you give of it to the Lord.

Curse happens because you dont give your best to your Maker, the Lord. One day an old dilapidated, non-working vehicle was presented to the Church by a believer. Isnt it bad?

The money you earn, even if its a crore rupees, it is a curse, which started with Adam at the Garden of Eden. How does God change this curse into a blessing? Give one tenths of it fearfully in the presence of the Lord, for the remaining ninety per cent to be turned a blessing for you. Till then, it's a curse only.

Those who've deceived on their tithes have never been blessed. Where can you run from your Giver?

Cain told about the nakedness of his father to his brothers. As a result, he was made to be a servant for generations. You must learn to cover the nakedness of the Children of God. We shouldnt despise the new soul.

Some people will tell about their nakedness to you. Dont reveal it to anyone, but pray to God. The more you pray, the more it will be covered.

Simeon, Levi's Anger:
You can play in any place but you should be with fear and trembling in the presence of God.You should not get angry in God's presence. (Deut 28)
Till you identify your curse, there wont be any relief.
Steps to be relieved from Curse:
Use fasting and crying for a restoration. (Joel 2:12)
Fasting is not an isolation, but an insulation. It's a separation for better insulation.
When does cry come?
when you are in pain.
What should you cry for?
For forsaking God. Otherwise it's called self-pity and God hates it. Lamentation is a song singing of the early blessed state.
Ask God, "what was your plan for me before the foundation of the world. Show me that plan Lord."

Curse will never leave you unless you've settled it personally. Then, you'll see the blessing of Jerusalem. Let's ask God to give us strength not to leave any meeting.
God makes a blood covenant between Abraham and Himself. This is the sign that God Has made a covenant: "With blessing will I bless thee..." You may fail in your covenenant because you are weak.So I'll make you sleep and walk wherever you have to walk.

This blessing is perpetual. It will never stop. They will be blessed in Abraham forever.
In Him, all the nations of the earth shall be blessed. The shadow of curse of the law died because of the death and resurrection of Christ.
We should have the courage to say:
"I'll look at the blessing, which stands by Faith, and these trials are nothing for me.
I wont look at the disease, I wont look at the piece of steel done in magic, but I believe in the blessing God Has in store for me."

Pastor Manoharan's powerful exhortations on the Work of the Holy Spirit @ Tambaram Faith Home

Pastor Manoharan recalled his experiences in Sri Lanka and also exhorted the Children of God at Tambaram Faith home to continue steadfast in the Holy Spirit and His Guidance. Pastor Manase did the Tamil translation for him.

His message in a gist with the salient features, is as follows:

A young sister in Church used to prophecy mightily exhorting and edifying others. She had two teeth in the front projecting out. One day someone had said something commenting on those two teeth and so for a week she didnt come to church. When I asked the reason, her mother told me, that she's growing rabbits at home. Just because someone said something, a mighty prophet has stopped coming to church and started rearing rabbits at home.

Sometimes, even people close to you may trouble you. You cant share your burdens with them. But God's there to help you out.

Some college girls approached me and said, Pastor, its difficult to wear simple clothes to our college as our friends may think wrongly of us. I didnt give them an answer for three days on that question. But on that particular Sunday, I spoke on the Christ of Calvary and the Cross and the visage of Jesus. That afternoon, after the message got over, the students came sobbing and repented to me, and said they'll stand for Christ forever. Look at the Cross, not at College.

I had long hair till the day i committed myself to the ministry. The next day after i committed myself to the ministry also I had this long hair on me. The worker sister said, no Manoharan, you'll have to go cut your hair. I went to the salon and the hair dresser asked me what type of dressing I wanted. I was confused. Before I could give him an answer the little boy accompanying me told him loudly, "he has become a (saamiyaar) priest. So just (mottai) tonsure his head. The people assembled there laughed at me.

We should have full control over our body in everything.

The early apostles and their sufferings cannot be equated to the present time. There's a nice song in Malayalam which goes like this: Dhukathinde bhanapathram...

I was just singing the first two lines, and stopped when the word Sandosham came. But GOD asked me to sing the next line too. "It's difficult Lord" i said. How can a person have a vessel of suffering and receive it with rejoicing. But that's the life of the Saints and Children of God. If we suffer with Him we shall also reign with Him. Then, I joyfully began to sing the song fully. ANy problem, any sadness, now, He's granted me the grace to be glad. Anything that comes in my life, I surrender myself happily to go through it.

O God whatever way you lead me I'll not murmur, but go the path with rejoicing, as Rebeccah said, not only for you but also for your camels." That's the joy of the true child of God. We need that Spirit.

In this anointing there's a root. It goes deep down. Is 45: 15. How much ever the Lord blesses you, exalts you, hide yourself. The more you hide yourself, the more you can go deep down.
A person who gave Rs.3000/- tithe got into a trial. He said that he wont give the money from that month as he thought the workers will suffer without his tithe. So a worker brother went to his house and told him, it's not your tithe alone that runs the ministry. One believer gives Rs.25,000 each month, but he doesnt reveal his name. He remains hidden. The hen which lays only one egg cackles the most.

You should also be careful of one root - the bitter root.

One servant of God said, I didnt do any mistake but I've been wrongly punished. Dear Child of God, most of the time, we have a hidden bitterness in our hearts. Throw it away. It affects you as well as the others around you.

The more exposed to the sun, the more green the leaf becomes. Similarly, If you behold the Father's face often, and the Sun of Righteousness, He will arise with Rays of Healing in His wings and you'll be green always. To be contd...
