God's lovely Certificate for His Child.. but when and why? Read onn...

See the certificate that God gives His child:

"Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee." Song of Sol.:4:7

When does God give a certificate like this for you n me? read on...

God anoints us n gives us a new song so that we should always be pleasing the Lord in all that we do. So, its not to please ourselves, not to please others around us, but to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord..

When a man, keeps pleasing God day by day dy day by day by day continuously in his life, then the Lord says with all pride about us, "Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee."
We should not try to please men but we should try to please God alone one hundred percent and receive this lovely testimony from Him for that. In all the 8 chapters the Lord calls His Church as "My Love".

In sleep too we should please God...
In walk too we should please God...
In our talk too we should please God...
In our thoughts too we should please God...

Cos the Lord has separated us to do this beautiful life. Even if we are going to enter or involve in a business or trade, we should see if it pleases the Lord and only then should we involve ourselves in it. Cos our body is not given to us to do those things that please us... It's only to do those things that please God. Amen!

Having a loooong list of our own wish lists n praying to God for that, is like vain words before God.

FIRST THOUGHT

What do we pray to God for? Can we see the beautiful prayer that King David the great king prayed unto the Lord...

Teach me to do Thy will; for Thou art my God: Thy spirit is good; lead me into th eland of uprightness. Ps.143:10

What a lovely prayer... so simple yet so profound...This sweet prayer is sooooo pleasing to Our Lord...! Amen.

Here, David doesnt ask God for any personal riches, glory or honour... He just asks God for a precious little thing... and that is..."Teach me to do Thy will;"When I thought what to ask God for, in this new year, i simply asked God for one little thing..." O Lord, I should never grieve you even in a small matter, in this new year... I dont need anything else. I need just this one thing alone. For God's people who live like this, God cant but give His bountiful blessings. He unfolds His blessings on such people. A good Child of God's daily prayer should be something similar to King David's lovely Prayer. Amen!

You might have come with a lot n lot n lot of needs today. For God it's nothing. But we should do just one this one thing in our life. Keep praising God with a grateful heart... Amen!

SECOND THOUGHT:

The Psalmist finds out what is pleasing to the Lord.

I will praise the Name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs. Ps.69:29,30,31
See how easily a simple man draws a Mighty God towards him.

God doesnt ask you for your money. He asks us for something quite simple. 'My yoke is easy and my burden is light.'When God desires to do something great in our life, He puts an yoke on us too, but that's an easy one.Naaman was a leper of many years. To heal his great disease, God puts on him just a small yoke. The prophet of God comes and tells him to wash himself seven times in River Jordan. It's quite an easy task, isnt it? If we ask our boys over here, they will do it 7000 times.:-)

Just obeying His voice is enough.Paul and Cilas had bruises all over their body. They were in the inner prison, at mudnight. It was quite a difficult situation for them. But Paul and Cilas were waiting for an opportunity to please God. Now, they got the right opportunity for that. At midnight, they shouted and sang praises to God, glorifying Him. As a result, God delivered them from so great a prison house, as God was pleased.

See the easy yoke that God gives us, "Praise and Glorify"
Disease?
Prob @ work?
Jealousy of people on you?
No job?
No Promotion?
For deliverance from all these, justPraise and Glorify Him...! AAAAAAMEN...!When there's none @ home, close the door, shout and glorify God with a chorus, and all problems will vanish, and all bondages WILL be shattered. Amen. We have experienced it.

Our God loves Praise and Glory.

Today many believers do not bring their Hymn books along. How will they get deliverance? People of God when they come to His presence should sing and praise Him.

If Paul and Cilas hadnt praised and glorified God that night, there would have been no deliverance for them @ all. So it was a deliverance not only for them but also for all the other prisoners. You should never be ashamed to sing and glorify the Lord in His presence.David was dancing before the ark of the Lord's Covenant, when his wife despised him, and as a result she became childless.

Not singing and praising is in itself a great mistake, even greater is the mistake, if you mock the ones who sing and praise God.How many of us are going to make a determination this New Year...!

LORD, whatever be the circumstance, I'll sing and praise God. Whatever be the trials and tribulations, I will praise my God.

THIRD THOUGHT:

To do Justice and Judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Prov.21:3

When we mete out Justice and Judgment in all that we do, it is pleasing to the Lord. Cos, whatever we do in faith, God counts unto us for righteousness. You've got a little money on you. You now see a person who has no money, and is suffering. so you give out of the little you have with faith. Then it is counted unto you for righteousness.
Talk in faith,
Walk in faith,
Speak in faith... cos the Lord accounts all these things for righteousness.

When you speak, speak justly. Dont frame a separate justice for yourself.

In Daniel 9:23, God says, "thou art greatly beloved." Why does God give this certificate for Daniel.? Cos, he confesses his faults, and not only his faults, but also repents on behalf of his people, humbles himself and prays to his Lord, which is pleasing unto the Lord.

When a man prays for himself, his family, society and Church, accepting his faults and also the faults of others, it is pleasing unto the Lord.Cos when we hide our faults, God is not pleased.

When a man acknowledges his faults an accepts it, God is pleased.
Jeremiah 9:23 - Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:One should glory of the kindness, the mercy, the love of God etc which is pleasing to the Lord.

You may have lots of money, yet you shouldnt rejoice in it.You may not have any disease, yet dont rejoice it it even to the least. You may have got a good name among your employers, yet never exalt yourself on that.Even in spiritual things, dont rejoice in your talents even to an iota.We have only one thing to glory, and that is...The Grace and Mercies of God...! Everything by His Grace...! Whenever somebody praises you, just say. "Lord, it's all because of your Grace...!"II COr 9:7 - God is pleased with those who do do things out of their heart.Ps.45:10, 11 - Forget also thine own people and thy father's house, then shall the King be pleased with thy beauty. This shows our life of Consecration.

The more we preserve our consecration, the more we are beautiful to the King our Lord. We read about the Moabite Ruth in the Old Testament. Jesus was born in her seed. She became beautiful to the Lord through her consecration. She left her people, her family, her father's house and makes a covenant with Naomi. She says, your God is my God, thy people are my people, and where thou stay, i also shall stay, and nothing but death can ever separate us. This was her beauty.

Pentecostals today deceive themselves by outward beauty, and they dont understand that what matters is inward beauty, and very few find the real beauty. If we find out all these things and live for the Lord, then God will surely certify for us the same. AAAMEEENNNNN!!!!!

YOUR HEART is the PROBLEM...!

We may wonder why some people always shout, get angry and are always in a rage. From teh above verse we find that roaring people are troubled people. When your heart is troubled, you unnecessarily shout and get upset over very little things.

The wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. Isa 57:20,21

So when your heart is restless like a troubled sea and there is no peace in your heart, you will be not only shouting but also casting up mire and dirt on others. In other words, a troubled man will always blame others for everything that is happening around him.

Child of God, do you blame others for your problems? Then the reason is, your heart is not resting in Jesus.

The meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. Psa 37:11

A meek person will be peaceful and at rest no matter what problem or trial he faces.

How do you face the trials and troubles of life?

Do you often accuse others for the problems you face? Do you get troubled about little things? It is a true saying that the heart of the problem is the problem of the heart. When our heart is right with God everything will fit in the right place like a jigsaw puzzle.

DELIVERED IN TROUBLE...!

There are two ways in which the Lord delivers us: 1) HE delivers us from trouble. 2) He delivers us in trouble.

We can find both these experiences in Psalm 91. Verse 3 says, Surely He shall deliver thee FROM the snare of the fowler.

But the 15th verse speaks about the Lord delivering us in trouble. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him IN trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.....

When God allows a trouble or trial in our life, we must know that God wants to promote us and honour us - Along with the deliverance, a spiritual promotion is also coming.

Perhaps you are in deep trouble now. Be of good cheer. Once you are found to be faithful to the truth, the Lord will deliver you and honour you.

A SELFLESS LIFE...!

Once Sadhu Sundar Singh wsa walking with a monk through a valley of the Himalayas. The monk wanted Sunder Singh to walk fast as snow was falling and they had to reach their destination before the dark. As they were hurrying along they heard a pathetic cry. It was a poor man who had fallen down and injured himself.

Sundar Singh wanted to go and help him, but the monk said that if they tried to help him, they would not be able to cross the snow before darkness set in. The Sadhu could not bear to leave the man there to die. "Maybe the Lord has brought me this way just to help that brother," he thought and went over to the man.

The monk didnt wait; he walked on by himself. The Sadhu found that the man could not walk. So he made a sling with his blanket and carried the man in his back.

Carrying the burden of a helpless man and walking up the hill was extremely difficult. However, Sundar Singh continued trudging along. Finally he could see the light of a monastery a short distance away.

As he continued to walk on carrying the man, suddenly he spied a huge bundle covered with snow lying on the way. On inspection, he found, to his horror, the body of the monk who accompanied him.!

How true it is that sharing the burdens of others gives both of us and others new life!

Christian life is esentially a selfless life - one of bearing not only the burdens and cares of others but also their weaknesses and iniquities! Let us take a look at our lives and dee how far we have fulfilled the expectation of the Lord.

I will UPHOLD thee...!

Our holding onto the Lord is good, but much more important than that, is to realise that the Lord is holding us. A child may hold on to his mother, but his mother's hold on him makes him feel much safer.

Dear reader, you are the beloved child of your heavenly Father. He holds your hand. So you

have nothing to fear.

Since the Lord is holding us up we have great confidence. "Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy." (Jude 24)

A SWORD FOR DISCOURAGEMENT...!

The root behind discouragement is disbelief in the promises of God.

The first recorded words of the devil are, "Hath God said?" - a question intended to make the woman doubt God's word. Jesus took up the Word of God against the devil. "It is written, it is written, it is written..!"

When the Word of God comes, the demon of discouragement has to flee. The Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword. It can give us life and new life. The whole world was created by His Word and it is upheld by His Word. You dont need to live in the realm of discouragement.

Beloved, we are not ordinary people. You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people. You belong to the King of kings, and Lord of lords, and God of gods. No demon can stand before you.

Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. After the darkness there's a bright morning. After a deep valley there's a huge mountain. Trust in the Word of God. The Lord will make the bitter sweet for you. He will turn darkness into light. He will turn confusion into peace, your emptiness into His fulness, your shame into glory, your weakness into strength, your filthiness into holiness, your death into life, your hell into heaven.

His Word will do that. That's why the Word is called the word of encouragement. In the name of Jesus rebuke the spirit that is discouraging you.

Don't lose your FELLOWSHIP...!

The very purpose of God in creating woman was so that she could be a help-mate for the man. God brought her to the man so that she might be with him always. When the woman lost her fellowship with the man she turned out to be a betrayer of GOd's love and truth.

Just as the woman was expected to be with the man always, the Church is expected to be in close fellowship with Christ, her Bridegroom - lest she be deceived by the devil and sin against Him.

Instead of making use of her precious time to commune with Adam, the woman was communing with the devil, the serpent. Very often, children of God who profess to have no time to pray or commune with God, have plenty of time to commune with the devil. We also need the fellowship of the saints who have have a close fellowship with the Lord.

"Have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ." I Jn 1:3

TREASURES OF THE SNOW...

"Hast thou entered into the treasures of snow?" Job 38:22

It appears from this text, that there are treasures in the snow.

Snow is always cool. Those who live a holy life will always be gentle and comforting to others even in most distressing situations.

Snow is transparent and crystal clear. If we really love purity of life, we will not show one thing on the outside and be different inside.

Having transparent character is having no hidden sins, no hidden unclean motives.

Snow melts in the sunshine; the hearts of those who love holiness always melts in the presence of God.

BE careful how you use your TONGUE...!

It is estimated that every human being has about a hundred million neurons or nerve cells in his body and that each neuron can contain about five billion bits of information.! Is it not wonderful (perhaps shocking to some of us) to discover that our tongue virtually has total control over these hundred million neurons in our body!

If you say "I'm very weak,"immediately instruction form the Speech centre goes to all the nerves: "Be prepared to be weak." Instantly your whole body feels a tendency to relax, to go to bed, etc, You dont seem to have energy to do any work.

Similarly when you say, "Mr.A is a very bad fellow," straightawayall your nerve cells accept it as a fact and adjust themselves to that. Afterwards, if someone tells you that Mr.A is a very good man, all your nerves immediately get irritated and upset. On the other hand, in case you hear somebody say, "Mr.A is a very bad man," you feel very happy and may say, "You are right. I quite agree with you." Perhaps you do not realize that all your nerve cells are so obedient to your tongue, that, even if others see a thousand good things in that person, you cannot find any good in him. The simple reason is that you have already instructed your 100 million nerves accordingly!

It has been rightly said, "The greatest point of danger in the world is the tip of the tongue." So dear Child of God, be careful how you use your tongue.

James, the "divine neurologist" says, The tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body." Jms 3:5,6 This amazing discovery made by James was but a supernatural revelation from God.

Significance of the Tree of Knowledge...!

The tree of knowledge had nothing evil in itself, as much as there is no evil in God. It's the disobedience of man that brought the evil effects. True knowledge is to fear and obey Him, and the knowledge to disobey Him is evil.

Be a Christian with a Backbone...!

"Dear Child of God, are you willing to pay the price to keep your life pure? You must be a Christian with a backbone.

"The man who cannot stand up for something may fall for anything." Stand up for holiness.!

The greatest failure in life is moral failure.

SHALLOM...! SHALLOM...!

THOU wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on THEE, because he trusteth in THEE. Isa.26:3

"If your mind is stayed on the Lord or when you trust in the Lord, the Lord will keep you in Shallom, Shallom, that is, in perfect peace, and in perfect health also. If your mind is always on your problems and not on the Lord, then you will be worrying all the time. However, when your spiritual eyes are upon the Lord, you will always enjoy tranquility or perfect peace."

Spiritual Dryness?

"Whales are usually caught in estuaries where the river falls into the sea. When they drift into the shallow waters of the river they are trapped there. So let us be careful not to drift into spiritual dryness."

OUR GOD - works for us ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT..!

It is interesting to see how God works for His people. When the Israelites were confronted by the Red Sea in front of them and pursued by the Egyptians from behind, the Lord worked on their behalf. Let us not forget that God was working that night, yes, ALL THAT NIGHT!

Very often when we face dark nights in our spiritual lives, we tend to forget the fact that God is working ALL NIGHT.

True enough, at times we are in the dark and do not know where to go or what to do or how to face the morrow. We feel we have been left high and dry, but thank God, we have a wonderful Saviour Who works on our behalf ALL THAT NIGHT.

A Life guided by the Spirit..is Like a Flying Bird...!

"We can live our life in two ways. Birds can walk and birds can fly. By walking a bird can cover a distance. But by flying it can cross mountains and rivers and other hindrances. A life that is guided by the Spirit is like a bird flying. "

Starting and Ending with God...!

"Child of God, it's important to begin your life with God, it's important to begin every year, every month, every day, every project, every thing you embark on, with God. It's even more important to finish it gloriously, to finish it with God."

We know Who goes before us...!

"We know that our future is going to be blessed because our Lord holds our future. He certainly has great plans for us. We may not know the path we may have to traverse this year, but we know Who goes before us, and that makes all the difference."
